Citrus Lane - 1 YR Old Boy

So, yes, I'm really late posting this but to be fair I'm one of the last people on the planet to receive my Citrus Lane box. I have to avoid Facebook so I don't see all the spoilers. Citrus Lane just added some different options and you can now choose a Basic ($12), Classic ($25), or Deluxe box ($49). Follow any of my links and use the code HALFOFF for 50% off your first month!

At first I was worried they sent me a girl box. After I opened the box I realized it's just pink for breast cancer awareness.
 The unwrapping
I also received a coupon for a 3-Month digital subscription to BabyBug. I'll have to look into that a little more because I'm not really sure how my 9 month old will enjoy a digital subscription. They also gave me a code for a one-year print subscription and I based my pricing on that.
I imagine this will get annoying very fast but I'm sure my kid will love it. I sent it in our express shipment to Japan so the little man will have some toys to play with while we wait for the rest of our stuff after we get there.
Little Man is just getting into the crash and burn stage. He's climbing all over things and trying to walk. These will come in handy soon, i'm sure.
 Boon Scrubble $9.16
These were actually on my Amazon wish list after seeing a great review on another blog.
Plum Organics Little Yums $0.67
Great snacks for the little man.

The value of my box is $24.78 which isn't the best I've seen but it's still more than what I paid (I subscribed to a longer plan therefore getting a lower price). I really like the tambourine and the Scubble bath toys so I'm happy. Now of course plenty of people have received there box for this month... and mine hasn't even shipped. Whenever it gets here I'll let you know.

Citrus Lane for Baby Boy plus Coupon

Citrus Lane is a babies/kids box that ranges from $21 to $25 depending on how long you sign up for. I aged my kid a couple months hoping to get some items that were more useful to us. So this box is for a 9 month old boy.

The Box
kids subscription
The Goods
charley harper
$7.96
This is a cute board book. Not really a story book for bedtime but a daytime book to read and let the little man explore.
$8.50
I love Skip Hop, but this toy seems a little young for my man. The age guidelines say for ages 0+. B seems more interested in observing his surroundings than playing with anything we attach to his stroller.
episencial
I love Episencial and this will definitely be used in our house.... after the ten other bottles of body wash that we have.
soothing cream
$11
We are totally lucky in that Little Man has no skin issues. We haven't even had a bit of diaper rash. None the less, I'm sure we can use this.
julep
Coco Polish from Julep
$11.20 - $14
This one is hard to assign a value, because when you sign up for Julep you get free polish. Not this color, though. If you are a Maven (member) you can get it for $11.20. If not, it's $14. Regardless, it's brown and I am not a fan.
burpy
Occasionally, Citrus Lane offers "add-on" items. They send out a link to some optional items you can pay for. It was all Aden & Anais stuff this time. Some of the prices are pretty good, sometimes you can find comparable prices at Amazon. I absolutely love Burpy Bibs and these were cheaper than Amazon currently has. I really hope someday I have a girl just so I can buy all the cute girly prints, too.

So, this wasn't my favorite month for Citrus Lane. The value of the box was $46.18 (not including Burpy Bibs) so that is pretty awesome for the $21 I paid. I've decided to age up Little Man even more to at least a year old. Hopefully, that'll help. Here's also hoping they don't offer Aden & Anais add-ons again because I freakin love the stuff and can't stop myself from buying more.

Use code HALFOFF to do just that.

Citrus Lane 6 Month Boy

Citrus Lane is a subscription tailored to the age of your child from infant to age 5. Plans range from $21 -$25 depending on how long you sign up for. Use code TAKEHALF for 50% off your first box.

So here's what we got. Don't pay attention to the crappy lighting in the photos. It was a weird day. Oh, and you should probably know this box is for a 6 month old boy.

The Goods
This is a cute little frog but my little man isn't very interested in him. I really think my kid is too old for it. He likes the hard plastic stackers right now to chew on, throw, or bang into things. I wil say that I found several products I really liked from this company while browing their website.
I'm over getting sanitizing wipes in my boxes. Plus, these are for hands. I'm not gonna carry this big thing around in my diaper bag.
This is a cute board book. We don't have any books that really dive into colors so it's a welcome addition.
Weleda Diaper Care
I rarely use diaper cream on my kid because he just doesn't need it. I did throw this in the suitcase on our last trip and actually used a little bit when I saw a slight red area and it cleared up immediately. Two thumbs up.
I don't have any of these yet so I am excited about it. My only complaint is the pattern. i guess the black and tan make it more boyish but the flowers? Not so much. Oh, well, I'll still use it.

So all told I received a value of $32.73 and I paid $21. Not bad at all. This definitely wasn't my favorite month but I still received some useful things. I'm thinking I may
age up" my kid a couple months by changing his birthday in my account profile. Sign up HERE and don't forget to use the promo code HALFOFF.

Citrus Lane - 5 Month Boy

$21 - $25 per month
A monthly subscription tailored to your child's age and stage.
When you use one of my links on this page you'll get $10 off your first month.

The box:
Zoli On-The-Go
This handy dandy little stacker has four separate containers for formula, snacks, or whatever you can think of. I can see this being very useful in a few months when my kid is ready for some finger food snacks.
$15 - side note... someone is selling this puppy on Amazon for $91. Good luck with that!
NuturMeals
We keep getting these in boxes and I keep throwing them in a drawer for our upcoming vacation.
$1.79
Little Buddy Wipes
I just had a Facebook post in regards to an article I read in which I stated I was not an Anti-Bacterial Mom. Well, if I've got them I'll use them. My kid constantly has crusty face now-a-days so this might help clean him up while we are out and about.
$2.49
Postagram
It's a app that lets you turn your pics into postcards to be sent to whomever. We've got 10 free postcards. I bet Grandma would love a postcard when baby travels.
$10
California Baby Travel Set
I love this company and we will throw this in with our travel stash.
Tiny Love Jittering Giraffe
This guy came straight out of the box and was put to work, not on the stairs mind you. That's was just the best place at the moment to finally get his picture. My kid love the jittering aspect of this giraffe. I love the clip which makes it super easy to move around. We also got a 20% off coupon for use at tinylove.com until 8/31.
$8.49
The value of this months box is about $38, and that's not including the travel sized California Baby products. That's pretty good considering what I paid for it and I will be able to use all the products I received.

Citrus Lane - 4 Month Boy

Ok, better late than never. Here is my June Citrus Lane box. This is a monthly subscription that sends you age appropriate items for your kid. Plans start at $21/month. Follow my link and get $10 off!

I'm always happy to see this box waiting for me:

The goods:

Susan Brown's Baby Foot Therapy
I don't ever use foot cream, but I should. Why not?

Susan Brown's Baby Diaper Therapy and Lotion
These look handy for our upcoming vacations!

Happy Baby Sweet Potato
We have a ton of these in the house and I'm happy to have another. My kid looooves his sweet potatoes.

Odd Duck
I had mixed feelings on this duck. My first thought was that it was cute. But when we added him to bath time I quickly learned he doesn't stay upright very well. He just flops right over. So then I didn't really get it. After doing some research I learned that the traditional rubber duckies and prone to some seriuosly disgusting mold on the inside. This Odd Duck does not take in water so no mold. After seeing pictures rubber duckies cut open and the amount of mold inside them I now 'get it'.

iPlay Hat
A cute little reversible hat for my little man.

Citrus Lane also included discount info for iPlay and Susan Brown's Baby in case you love the items so much you needed more. I love Citrus Lane, it's one of my faves. It's the only one that I have a long term subscription with.
