July Favorites

I'm linking up with My Subscription Addiction to bring you my July favorites!

Cherry Lovers from Goodies
Yeah, I ordered 4 huge bags of these :)
OXO Roll Up Bib from Mommies First
I might be jumping the gun here because I haven't even finished this review, but finally a serious bib that actually sits normally around my kids shoulders and neck.
To be honest, I haven't even used the stuff. I just keep smelling/huffing it. I looooove the smell.
MiaBelleZza Gel Eyeline from Wantable
I LOVE gel eyeliner and didn't own a brown!

I think I've used this everyday since I got it. Really, Wantable is hitting it out of the park for me.
What were your favorites this month?

Petit Vour - July

Petit Vour is a box of hand picked vegan beauty and grooming samples. For $15 a month you get a handful of cruelty-free products delivered in a recycled box. I've been super impressed with the uniqueness of the products I've received as well as Petit Vour's customer service. So here's what it looks like:

I always love this simple, classy interior...

The info card which doesn't give too much away before you can unwrap:

The Goods

Dr.'s Remedy Rescue Red
This polish is RED! I've already got the first coat on my nails and I love it. It's not a burgundy red or a deep red or an orangey red. Nope, it's firetruck red. Also included is a promo code for $10 off your $50 purchase of Dr.'s Remedy products. This polish is valued at $17 - which already tops the cost of the monthly subscription.

Kimberly Sayer Tangerine & Calendula Cream
I'm happy to see there are 3 of these packets. They are supposed to lighten dark spots and sun damage and you really can't get a good feel on those types of things with just a little sample.

Sumsoap ahh-vocado
I love avocado, but when I saw the soap name I was concerned because I don't really want to smell like one. Luckily, I don't think this soap will do that to me. It smells sweet and citrusy and promises to leave my skin baby soft with that natural avocado oil. Also included is a 10% off coupon for sumbody.com.

Mun Aknari No. 1
This is a rejuvenating concentrate for the face, under eyes, and neck. It smells divine - and I did the spot test on the back of my hand and it feels silky smooth.

Beauty Without Cruelty Eye Pencil
This is a very blue eyeliner. I don't usually rock the blue, but I'm gonna do it. This pencil is valued at $16.95. Score.

Petit Vour has a great point system to earn free boxes. I wish they would give referral links to share with you, but if you email them and let them know who sent you their way I might just get some more points!

Petit Vour - June

Petit Vour is a luxurious cruelty free beauty sampler. I was super impressed with last month so I was excited to see this one waiting for me.

The always appreciated info card.

I just love the simplicity of the packaging. Black tissue paper with the little string. Simple but very cute.

The goods.

Barre

I was really disappointed when I saw the Barre in my box. I received one of these in another box last month and I actually spit the first bite out and threw the whole thing away. But this one was a different flavor (Cinnamon Pecan) so I gave it a try and it was sooo much better. I ate the whole thing. I probably wouldn't purchase them myself... but if someone handed it to me I would eat it.

I just had to share what it looks like inside... super gross looking. But again, I ate it :)

Skingen
Anti-Wrinkle Complex, Eye Complex, Xfoliator

I tried all the products this morning but didn't notice anything immediate. You really need to use skincare products for a couple weeks before you get some results. That being said, the smell was mild, I liked the textures, and nothing weird has happened to my skin in the last few hours. I did find it strange that the eye cream came in such a large sample where as the exfoliator was much smaller. Usually eye cream comes in the smallest packet. It will likely last me all week.

Baudelaire Acorelle Perfume

I don't have a signature scent. I like to wear different perfumes daily depending on my mood (that is, when I remember to put it on). This may not be a scent I would choose for myself - but I will use it for sure. For those days I don't feel like myself and want to smell like someone else, too!

$15 Gift Certificate to MineralHygienics.com

I guess there was some controversy regarding this gift certificate because it doesn't cover shipping. Petit Vour showed off their customer service skills however and offered to give points for the shipping cost. I'm pleased with their response to this and will be ordering from MineralHygienics just as soon as I can make up my mind what I want. Eye shadow? Liner? Mascara?

Overall, I'm happy with this box. I'm even more happy with Petit Vour's customer service. I belong to some Facebook subscription box groups with hundreds of followers and when a company lacks in customer service those ladies are vicious! I have seen mass exodus for some subscription boxes based on how they treat their customers. I'll be sticking with Petit Vour.

Monthly boxes are $15 - a little less if you commit to a longer term. When you sign up email Petit Vour and let them know I sent you!

Petit Vour - May

This month I received my first Petit Vour box. They sell themselves as a cruelty free luxury product subscription. Here's what it looks like:

The box is super cute. There is an info card that explains this month is about Rejuvenation. It also explains that they are offering a 10% discount on all full size products on their website. The back of the card gives details on all the products in the box.

Sante 24 HR Balance Cream
Face cream made with acai and camellia oils. I love these types of samples since they are great for travel. It promises to make my skin velvety soft. We shall see....

Misa Nail Lacquer - Looking for Trouble $7.50
This polish is free of dibutyl, phthalate, formaldehyde, and toluene. I don't know what most of those are nor have I ever been concerned with what is in my nail polish, but I'll tell you this..... I LOVE the color :)

Acure Organic Shampoo and Conditioner:
I haven't used these yet but they smell fantastic. Sort of a cherry almond scent. Plus, they've got Moroccan Argan Oil which I've been hearing so much about.

Zen Society Tea Tree Facial Cleanser
Eco-friendly and vegan it's supposed to cool and brighten tired skin. I haven't slept in months due to a new kid and it shows. I wonder if this will help?

Go Raw Spirulina Energy Bar - $1.19
The ingredients are Sprouted Organic Sesame Seeds, Organic Banana, Organic Coconut, Organic Dates, and Organic Spirulina. I really wanted to like this because I have a horrible junk food snack habit. But I just couldn't get it down.

Tsi-La Organic Perfume
Described as delicious and mischievous, seductive and inviting. It is very oily. And it smells like fruity candy. Neither of those is necessarily a bad thing. I probably wouldn't buy a bottle but I'll use the sample as an every day scent.

Subscriptions start out at $15 a month, a little less if you opt for a 3 month or year long plan. They also offer a points system for reviewing the products you receive as well as referrals. Check them out at petitvour.com and email contact@petitvour.com and tell them wherethesubmarinetakesus sent you!
