Has anyone noticed that new button off to the right??

--------------------------------------------------------------------->>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

That's right.... I am now an official council member for MommiesFirst. You all know from my previous MommiesFirst posts as well as a couple of my monthly favorites list that I love love love them. I'm super excited to be able to provide them with more feedback so we all get the best boxes ever!

MommiesFirst

It's MommiesFirst time! My favorite baby box. Each month is $30 or a little less if you sign up for a longer term.
 The Box
The note from Lorena. This months box is titled Baby Firsts and it's all about my little man making big leaps in his development.
The best info cards by far.
Okay, so I really just don't get these. Why not put pants on? And while the colors are gender neutral for some reason they just seem girly to me.
I'm very happy about this item. I am sure it will come in use, and I may even want more.
The only thing that bums me out about these is that I just purchase the exact same ones a few days prior.
This is an all natural topical pain reliever geared towards accident prone toddlers. We are just getting into the serious crashes around here and I haven't had a chance to test this out.
From previous posts you know I'm a huge Avaha fan. So I was very excited to see this product.

This months value was $45.33. Pretty good for the $30 spent. This definitely wasn't my favorite MommiesFirst box, but they can't all be fabulous. Right now MommiesFirst only goes up to 12 months so we are quickly aging out. I'm impatiently waiting the announcement that they are expanding.

August Favorites

Here we are. My favorite subscription box items from August.

This thing was heavenly. I just don't want to know how many calories were in it.
So thoughtful and perfect.
I love anything by Ahava but it's been a long time since I got any new products of theirs.
I can't get over how good this stuff smells. I may be guilty of huffing this bottle, just a little.
I ended up returning the top because it was too big (I'm hoping they send me a smaller size) but the capri's were perfect. So much so that I've been living in them and I should probably wash them.
So those were my faves. What made your list?

MommiesFirst

$30 per month for either an Expectant Mommies or New Mommies Box. I receive the New Mommies Box and it's mostly stuff for the little man with a little for me. MommiesFirst is based out of Canada but their shipping has always been pretty quick for me. They made some changes to their shipping process this month to make it even quicker in the U.S.

The Box
They mentioned that the new shippers were going to improve upon the problem with beat up boxes but mine didn't seem to fair much better than usual.
The envelope with my name hand written. Very nice touch.
The note inside indicated the theme is "Having Fun With Baby".
The Goods
As always, Mommies First has the best info cards.
1 2 3 Busy Baby $4.99
I am always happy to see books in little man's boxes.
Peek-a-Boo Panda $6.80
I love Melissa and Doug toys and I'm sure my kid will like this.
Munchkin Safety Bath Ducky $3.29
We already have a similar duck and honestly, we don't really use him for his intended purpose. We just stick our hand in the water to test the temp. My kid loves to play with his duckies, though!
My True Nature Lotion and Shampoo/Body Wash
I love bath samples because I'm super picky and like to try them out first. It's all about the smell to me and these smell great. I also love that the info cards give us a coupon for 30% off their website.
Ahava Purifying Mud Mask
I love Ahava products. So excited about this one.
I like the idea of these. I freaked out when I saw the foam handle on my nice stoller had a chunk missing. My only complaint, they are bright pink and orange. Not my style for anything let alone my blue stroller. Anybody get the black ones and wanna trade??

I really dig MommiesFirst. They only cater to kids up to age 1 at this point but I'm hoping they expand soon. It's hard to calculate value when you receive smaller sample sizes but the samples are quite large so I definitely received more merchandise than the $30 I paid. Check them out at MommiesFirst!

MommiesFirst

mommiesfirst

Mommies First offers Expectant Mommies and New Mommies Boxes
$30 per month
The Box:
mommiesfirst
First Look: I was super impressed to see an envelope with my name hand written on it. Inside was a card from Lorena welcoming me to MommiesFirst and explaining the theme which is Food 2.0: Rounding Out The Menu. I aged my son up to 7 months for this subscription.
mommies first
This is by far the best info sheet(s) I've seen. All the cards are pin together with an old school diaper pin. You get a ton of info on each product from how to use, where to find, price, and more.

 Happy Baby Stage 2 Food
I love these. Enough said.
Okay, I'll say a little more. We also received some coupons for Happy Family products. The kind that don't expire until sometime next year. I hate when you have to use them with 2 weeks!
happy baby
 Happy Squeeze
This are pouches for adults. I received another flavor in a different box and loved it so much I bought a bunch from Amazon. I am excited to try this Orange Mango flavor.
happy squeeze
 Penny Lane Natural Lavender Mist
I love using lavender sprays on my sheets and towels! I'm not convinced it helps me to sleep but I do like the smell.

 OXO On-The-Go Feeding Spoon
This spoon seems to have a good sized scoop which is good because my kid likes the food shoveled in. He gets very irritated with the shallow spoons that don't hold much.

 Little Green Pouch
I'm trying to make about half of all of the little man's food myself so I will definitely use this.

 OXO Roll Up Bib
This is a great bib. First, I love that the closure works for little necks and big necks. It's velcro but it's a big stretch of it. I also love the soft material around the neck. I find that the hard plastic ones just don't sit right on my kid.
oxo tot
 Popchips
Yummy!

 Oliver's Label Wall Decals
While these seem like very good quality I had to laugh. I'm not a big fan of birds, and my last home had random birds painted on the walls in the hallways and such. It drove me nuts. I'm not sure what I'll do with these. I also got a voucher for free labels.
olivers labels
I am totally impressed with Mommies First. It shipped from Canada but it arrived super fast after I got the shipping notification. I can't find any coupon codes and they don't offer a referral program but I highly recommend this one.

July Favorites

I'm linking up with My Subscription Addiction to bring you my July favorites!

Cherry Lovers from Goodies
Yeah, I ordered 4 huge bags of these :)
OXO Roll Up Bib from Mommies First
I might be jumping the gun here because I haven't even finished this review, but finally a serious bib that actually sits normally around my kids shoulders and neck.
To be honest, I haven't even used the stuff. I just keep smelling/huffing it. I looooove the smell.
MiaBelleZza Gel Eyeline from Wantable
I LOVE gel eyeliner and didn't own a brown!

I think I've used this everyday since I got it. Really, Wantable is hitting it out of the park for me.
What were your favorites this month?
